my life:thru the eyes of a desperate skoolgirlNovember 23 -weather has been fucking awful lately, its raining constantly and windy as hell sampai umbrella pun diterbangkan! and its getting dark at a very early time, round 4pm to b precise this means that every thursday after the property 2 seminar at 5pm,it will b a mad dash home alone as im afraid of being rob =.=" the lil incident last week wid the drunkard has shaken my nerves, no more late nite excursions for my geng! anyway will be going off to sheffield this week to meet friends, i so cant wait for that =D finally a change of faces to look at, its only been two months n im already super sick of u newcastle! took the liberty to post up a bunch of pics taken during the past 1 month a mix n match on the bamburgh castle and holy island trip, abit on newcastle's millennium bridge and aso on the nottingham games  at nottingham uni, u really have to forgive us for lookin like shit bcoz newcastle was situated at such a god forsaken place, we had to travel 4 hrs by bus to reach notts, so in order to arrive by 7am, we had to depart frm NCL at 3 in the morning  nasi lemak! it was super duper good! though nt as good as the one near my house, nonetheless; spicy food *slurpsss*  dgn priya yg memegang plastic bag bagai seorang makcik haha =P  our super mini reunion  with carey from manchester, btw manchester alot of hot basketball players hoho  one of the successful potluck party that we had i dint know many of them are such good cook, still rmbr the pasta and the ginger and chicken casserole!  at the millennium bridge its one of ncl's major attraction  the bridge supposedly chges color every 5 mins i think when we were there, it just stayed on with the rainbow color, real pretty!  being all silly =))  school trip to bamburgh castle and holy island went to two castle at the same day! i like this castle more, its at holy island and its really nice! the castle looks as if its carved out of the rocks itself..  and this is bamburgh i dint bother to take much shots from here on, as you can c, the weather was turning gloomy all the pictures doesnt turn out nice!  all the castles has a view of the sea, its really beautiful!  groupie 1  random groupie 2    halloween clubbing    pigeons are everywhere here they berak merata-rata and are annoyingly nt afraid of humans  newcastle at nite  cant resist to sneak in my awesome possum bed sheet =D E-N-D November 02 daylight savings has started would u look at the amount of leaves on the ground..if it wasnt so wet, i would have make a pile of leaves, and jump onto it and daydream just like what i read in books =) in uk, the trees are taught to shed all their leaves for winter..
i dont really like the idea of the trees being all bald in preparation for the cold weather =(( very depressing sight to see sigh.. autumn is ending, and with it comes winter and the start of all our miseries that is assignments double sigh.. alot to update on actually, the bamburgh castle trip, the notts games, my newfound passion in cookin and the list goes on.. but being a procrastinator as a part time job, i will just say sorry to all u readers coz i doubt i'll blog bout it in detail but merely as a picture post yet again hah check the song out, it nvr feels to make me feel all tingly and sad after hearing it.. very suitable for autumn's dreary days 1st heard the song from The OC, den heard it after all this years sung by the street performer at Eldon square, and now here i am listening to it again.. October 02 same ol same olweather has been getting colder n colder nowadays, in preparation for winter? i doubt so as its too early to be approaching winter yet! sigh how i longed for the days when the temperature was 17degrees, i shouldnt have complained that it was too cold den, as its roughly round 9 degrees nowadays bleh! plus the never ending drizzle around here juz makes everything alot more glomier T.T classes started this week, am taking european union law, property 2 which is trust n equity, jurisprudence half module and commerical contract anthr half module, and the most interesting sub; medical law =) so far the lectures are all about introduction to the various subs, nthg much yet but medical law's lecturer is really awesome, no introduction and just straight to the point, and she has such a loud booming voice that makes falling asleep in class virtually impossible haha nt much comment on the other lecturers though, especially property 2..as it is the sub is as dry as my wallet now, the lecturer herself had to be one of the most boring person in britain =.=" the timetable is really flexible here, makes finding a job to suit my timetable very easy, as we only have tutes every 2 weeks once, and lectures every 2 hrs per week.. pri is back in UK, shes been bugging me to visit sheff since forever cant wait to visit her to, if nt for all the trips organised by the student union in my uni! nxt week will be on a trip to durham and the following week will b anthr trip to some castle as well i noe some of u may b wondering, am i here for the studies or here for a vacation hehe since im all the way here, mite as well enjoy the best of it lah, so all the trips are very much a part of my journey here i guess *excuses for going out n wasting money, i noe T.T * September 27 a lil update and my trip to alnwick castlebeen approximately 2 weeks since i've been in UK, but it feels soo much longer then that.. during this 2 weeks nt much has happen as uni has not began, but im getting used to the routine edi which consist of me waking up at round 7am, den going out wid friends either to town or visiting each others rooms from 12pm onwards till 5pm as everything is close at 5pm onwards theres really not much to do here bleh.. and since i dont really take naps around here, im usually beat out by 10pm lol, totally no life, i understand T.T went clubbing last week in an effort to make life more interesting, what a waste of time and energy and makeup as it was so sucky n boring!! very different feel to it if compared to a msian club which imo is much funner and more happening lol they just opened a new MOS over here btw, nt sure hows it though, the 1st clubbing experience has left me very dissapointed wid the so called party life here.. went on a school trip to alnwick castle and alnwick gardens today, if you dont noe *neither do i, till yy told me lol*, the castle was portrayed as hogwarts in the harry potter film franchise supposedly it is super beautiful and is one of the historical sites of newcastle.. so we wentlah, trying to be all active and touristy.. for me, theres really not much, nt worth the money spent there.. surprise surprise theres a whole lot of walking in the sightseeing process as the castle is suppppeeeerrrr huge =.=" but aside from the scenery and a good camwhoring venue, i can safely say that the place is really nt worth a visit mayb its just me being a sour pus, but really, whats there to c in a load of old bricks n stone thats close to crumbling.. classes will resume nxt week, abit nervous as to how it will turn up.. feeling abit apprehensive as during our recent newcastle court trip, we found out that we actually had a hard time understanding the english being spoken.. theres a whole lot of accent round here, and it takes getting used to.. hopefully i can manage, if nt they'll be hell to pay when theres a F in my results T.T lemme post up some pics of the alnwick castle trip, super alot, so slowly load lah ya'll =P  the castle frm outside, pretty rite! and it was so lucky of us to be there during such a nice sunny day!      does it look like hogwarts to you?  the weather was sooo sunny yet at the same time its nt those burning sunny y'all noe what i mean? its like cooling and juz bright and sunny, very nice weatherlah basically!   alot of these memorabile lying around, but sadly we cant take pics of those that are inside the castle   funny sign haha theres a dragon quest, and a knights quest and also sum magical harry pottery thingy we can go to...dint join any of them though, too tired edi!  we were so hungryy!! but the food was just too expensive for us poor students T.T so the nxt best thing was to juz buy a cup of icecream, such a small cup n its 2pounds omg!  its tasty though =) very creamy n smooth   the castle ground, if im not mistaken, this was where they shot the quidditch scene at..very green and nice huh? E-N-D September 17 life goes oncurrently its 6.45am UK time, im usually awake very early here, still jet lag i tink as it should be afternoon in msia now.. its not that miserable around here anymore, getting used to the idea that this will be my home for a yr, mite as well enjoy it =) yest was a sunny weather in newcastle, finally saw a glimpse of the sun, though shes playing peek-a-boo with us the whole day, it still makes a whole load of diff to have a chg to the usual gloomy weather! this past few days we've been walking and walking and walking i cant imagine how the heck can we gain weight here since we're constantly in a marathon walk we headed of to morrisons yest, trying to save the 1.50pounds fare by walking there.. what a bad choice that was, it was a whole 10km away i tink when we could've have just reach there by bus within a couple of mins =.=" shopped for grocery which is dirt cheap if you dont convert since we were planning to cook our dinner that nite, we bought ourself some poultry and salt and sugar not much we can cook anyway as we have a lack of necessity such as pots and pans =( the day b4 yest, we headed of to explore the city too.. its not very big, everything is in a circle, wont get lost easily eventhough i have no idea whats the street name and stuff.. we went to chinatown too, very small if compared to the chinatown in other city went to the chinese grocery store, saw the yeo's lychee drink which is totally my fav drink! 60pence for it wtf, which if you convert would have been rm3 tsktsk..very ex ok! even saw durians and also maggie perisa curry there haha the best thing bout chinatown is, every1 speaks canton over there! very homey feel to it =) yeah bout the shopping here, the clothes are cheap if you dont convert though u cant buy those branded items, but the imitations are quite cool too our fav shop now is primark, a jacket for 25pounds, while a sweater for only 4pounds! because its cheap we tend to overspend, gotta control my will power!!! the makeup though quite pricey i tink, the eyeliner especially! lucky i've stock up on my makeup supply, if not i'll juz ask my mom to send them over thru post if i have to! nt much to update on anymore, pics time =)  this is my super tiny room..abit messy coz this was the 1st day ok! as you can c theres nthg on the bed, nt even a pillow..so had to get my duvet n pillow set myself which is 12pounds at argos  heading to town  chinatown! *angels singing in the background*   sweet and sour pork rice! not very tasty but it reminds me of home ='(   in UK, its all about partying, even on a monday! and they're very creative in advertising their clubs  alot of all these old n mouldy kind building   heading to a friends hse she lives in a private residence, and the house is so so nice while the rent is so effing cheap!  the very awesome ellen who cooked all this! the chicken wings is oh so deliciouuussss  and steam fish too =D  ribena+sprite, the perfect combination  the nxt day it was our turn to try out cooking at my sparsely equip kitchen  cooking curry chicken  dinner time!  theres spam pork, cabbage with ikan bilis, and also curry chicken with potatoes serve with rice and also the disgusting morrisons fruit squash juice as our drinks..  we lack bowls, so i had to eat out of my rice cooker T.T E-N-D
